Event Update: Important Health Information
AFP is closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and a decision will be made by July 6, whether we are moving forward with an in-person event. If we must cancel and you have registered for AFP 2020, you will be offered the option of a full refund of your AFP 2020 registration.
We’ve also updated our attendee Cancellation Policy and removed the $100 cancellation fee for AFP 2020 registrants. AFP accepts only written cancellations to CUSTOMERSERVICE@AFPONLINE.ORG. Cancellations for registrations postmarked on or before September 18, 2020, will receive a refund of the registration fee. Membership is not refundable. Registrants are responsible for canceling their own hotel accommodations.
The safety of our attendees remains our highest priority and all appropriate measures are being taken to ensure that at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
The Mandalay Bay team has been working with health experts and local and state officials to develop a Seven-Point Safety Plan, a comprehensive plan outlining processes and protocols for helping keep guests and employees safe. These include:
- Extensive physical updates to properties, including conveniently placed handwashing stations, superior sanitation protocols and social distancing parameters within our resorts.
- The transition of many current processes into contactless options through digital innovations.
As we continue to learn more about the virus, protocols will continue evolving to ensure we provide the safest environment possible.
