Q: Where is AFP 2019 taking place?

A: The Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) is located at 415 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02210.
Q: What is included in my registration fee?
A: A full conference registration includes:
- Sunday Keynote
- Tuesday Keynote
- All educational concurrent sessions (with the exception of pre-conference seminars and the CTP Review Course as indicated on the registration form. Some programs have eligibility requirements.)
- Welcome Reception on Sunday
- Attendee Breakfasts Monday through Wednesday
- Attendee Luncheons Monday through Tuesday
- Exhibit Hall Opening and Closing Receptions
Q: What are the onsite registration hours?
A: Onsite registration hours are:
- Saturday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Sunday: 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Monday: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Tuesday: 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
Q: What is the conference cancellation policy?
A: AFP accepts only written cancellations to CustomerService@AFPonline.org. Cancellations for registrations postmarked on or before September 20, 2019, will receive a refund, less a $100 processing fee. There are no refunds for cancellations postmarked after September 20, 2019. Membership is not refundable. Registrants are responsible for canceling their own hotel accommodations.
Q: What is the conference substitution policy?
A: If you cannot attend the conference, you may substitute another person from your company. Once a badge is picked up onsite, it cannot be substituted. All requests for substitutions must be made in writing with a completed registration form accompanied by a $100 processing fee. Additional fees may apply based on the substitute's membership status.
If you must substitute after September 20, 2019, do not send registrations to AFP - these will be processed onsite at one of the "assistance" counters and all fees will apply. (If you registered with corporate practitioner coworkers and qualified for "Team Pricing," please refer to your team registration form for details).
Q: Who do I contact if I have questions regarding registration?
A: You can contact CustomerService@AFPonline.org or call 301.907.2862 and ask for AFP Customer Service from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.
Q: Can I bring my spouse or a guest to the convention center and the conference events?
A: A $250 spouse/guest registration is available which includes admission to the Exhibit Hall, Sunday and Tuesday Keynotes, AFP social events and meals, but not educational sessions. A spouse/guest registration cannot be a practicing financial professional, seller/provider of treasury management services, employed by a company in the industry or a consultant in the industry.
Q: What should I do if I have a special dietary request?
A: AFP will provide event meal tickets for the following Special Dietary Requests: Halal, Kosher, Vegan, and Vegetarian. These tickets are to be presented to banquet staff at designated plated or boxed lunch events at conference. In order to receive a ticket for one of the four meals mentioned above, you must assign events to your conference registration. All other dietary restrictions, such as Gluten Free (GF), will be accommodated through labeled menu items at attendee meals.

Q: What should I do if I have an ADA request?
A: If you have a disability and require special assistance, please update your event profile online to specify your needs at least two weeks before the event so that we may accommodate your needs. An AFP staff member will contact you with more information regarding your request.
Q: How do I report my CTP/CCM/FP&A credits earned at the AFP 2019?
A: Reporting Credits with the Mobile App
Sessions for which you complete and submit an evaluation via the conference mobile app will be automatically uploaded to your Online Recertification Credit Tracking record by December 31, 2019. To ensure the timeliness and accuracy of this data, you will need to be logged into the conference mobile app with your AFP credentials.
If you participate in any of these sessions but do not complete and submit an evaluation form, your attendance will not be automatically recorded and you will need to manually enter that information into your Online Recertification record at www.AFPonline.org/recert. Q: Is there wireless internet available in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center?
A: Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available 24/7 throughout the entirety of the facility.
Q: Is there a business center?
A: Yes, the FedEx Office Business Center has a location in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Services include:
- Large-format color printing
- Signs and banners
- Pre-convention printing and file assistance
- Pack and Ship
Q: What is the dress code?
A: The dress code for most conference events is business casual. For the Welcome Reception we recommend casual attire.
Q: Are meals provided during?
A: Yes, AFP provides attendees breakfast Monday through Wednesday and lunch on Monday and Tuesday.
Q: Who can I talk to about finding a restaurant in Boston?
A: Please check with your hotel concierge for restaurant recommendations or see the staff at the housing information desk at the registration area in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
