Robin Roberts is a television broadcaster, Emmy® Award winner and is currently co-anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America. Roberts began her career in 1983 as a sports anchor and reporter for WDAM-TV in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She joined ESPN as a sportscaster in February 1990, where she stayed until 2005 when she became co-anchor of Good Morning America. Robin is a breast cancer survivor who has become an outspoken advocate for the cancer research community. Each year she is heavily involved with the Jimmy V Foundation for cancer research and is a Keynote Speaker at breast cancer awareness events across the country. In 2012, Robin was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame and in 2014, she published her memoir titled “Everybody’s Got Something” that reflects on the unexpected journey of her life.
