Attendee and Convention Center Orientation with Bonus Art Tour

Whether you’re a first-time attendee, or haven’t been to an AFP event in a while, you won’t want to miss this session. Things kick off with a rundown of the lingo, events you can participate in, how to get around the convention center, and everything else important you need to know.

Then, join us for a curator-led tour of the 130 works of art in the hallways, entrances, and stairwells of the Convention Center. This diverse collection showcases the best of local and international artists and includes one-of-a-kind sculptures, paintings, and photography. In a city famed for its museums, the Walter E. Washington Convention Center is often called the “best-kept secret” in the nation's capital.
