AFP Grant Program
The AFP Grant Program helps students and professionals,
who might not otherwise be able to attend AFP 2025, participate in the conference through complimentary registration. The AFP Conference is the premier event for treasury and finance professionals to learn new ideas, exchange best practices and connect
with peers.

Student and Early Career Professional Grant
The Student and Early Career Professional Grant empowers underrepresented communities to learn more about the treasury and finance profession through education and networking at the annual AFP Conference.
Grant recipients will receive complimentary registration to AFP 2025, October 26-29, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston.
Eligibility
- Students in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program or early career professionals with 0-5 years of working experience.
- Able to attend AFP 2025, October 26-29, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston.
- Can not currently be registered for AFP 2025.
- Can not have previously been awarded an AFP Grant.
- Can not have attended an AFP event as a paid attendee over the past five years. This includes the annual AFP Conference and the AFP FP&A Forum. This does not include webinars, training courses or virtual meet-ups.
- Grant recipients must agree to be featured in current and future AFP Conference promotions which may include live appearances, video interviews or written profiles.
You do not need to be an AFP member to apply for an AFP 2025 Grant.
How to Apply
Grant applicants will be reviewed in two windows with a portion of grants distributed after the early application window.

Early Grant Application Deadline: June 6, 2025
Grant recipients will be notified in July.
Standard Grant Application Deadline: August 1, 2025
Grant recipients will be notified in September.
Selection Criteria
A review committee reviews and scores applications. They seek candidates who are eager to learn and will apply the skills and knowledge gained from attending AFP 2025 to advance their career goals.
Grant Distribution
If you are selected for an AFP 2025 Grant, an AFP staff member will reach out with more information. If you are already registered for AFP 2025, you can not apply for an AFP 2025 Grant. This Grant covers AFP 2025 registration and does not include travel and other expenses.

Experienced Professional Grant
The Experienced Professional Grant assists high-potential professionals who might not otherwise be able to attend the AFP Conference. This grant is designed to help increase the impact of those who are passionate about giving back to the treasury and finance profession.
Grant recipients will receive complimentary registration to AFP 2025, October 26-29, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston.
Eligibility
- Professionals currently working in the treasury or finance profession.
- Able to attend AFP 2025, October 26-29, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston.
- Can not currently be registered for AFP 2025.
- Can not have previously been awarded an AFP Grant.

Mentoring Program
Looking to make an impact on the treasury and finance community? We're looking for attendees who are willing to mentor our grant recipients before, during and after the event. We'll match grant recipients with interested treasury and finance professionals and provide resources and an onsite meeting area to support the relationship. More information to come on how to volunteer.
Mentors must be registered for AFP 2025. Selected mentors will be notified in August and October 2025.
