Thank you for registering for AFP 2025, taking place October 26-29, 2025 in Boston. This page will be updated as more information becomes available and is intended for registrants only. This event is in-person only. There is not a virtual option. 

CODE OF CONDUCT: AFP is committed to providing a great experience and a safe event. When you check in at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, you agree to the AFP Code of Conduct.  

No one under the age of 21 is permitted to attend Conference functions.

VENUE: The Boston Convention & Exhibition Center is located at 415 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02210.  

ONSITE REGISTRATION HOURS: Please note that Day Pass registrations cannot be printed before your purchased day.

AFP 2025 App: The AFP 2025 App will be launched in October.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS: General housing reservations will open on March 18, 2025, and the list of hotels and map will be available at that time.

*HOUSING ADVISORY* It has come to our attention that several housing agencies have presented themselves as hotel booking agencies for AFP conferences and have been contacting exhibitors and attendees to make hotel reservations using their services. Please note: Convention Management Resources, Inc. (CMR) is the only official housing agent for AFP 2025 in Boston. No other housing company or travel agency is authorized to place hotel reservations on behalf of AFP.

Reservations made through any other agency cannot be guaranteed by AFP and may result in additional charges, incorrect hotel placement, or inflated room rates for other conference participants. Please use the AFP Official Housing online hotel reservation system to avoid any confusion or additional charges.

PERSONAL INFORMATION SHARING: AFP does not provide or sell your phone number or e-mail address to those outside of the organization. Exhibitors and sponsors will receive a list of registered attendees, including name and primary mailing address. They are permitted to send a mailing promoting their participation before the event, and a mailing after the event to your primary mailing address on file.  Login to your profile to  manage your preferences. Then, you will be able to:  
• Update your primary address information by selecting Edit from Contact Information, and/or  
• Opt-out by selecting Edit from Personal Information and then checking the box for “Do not share my contact information with AFP partners”

During the event, if you choose to visit an Exhibitor and allow your name badge to be scanned, your contact information (including name, title, organization, e-mail address and primary mailing address) will be shared ONLY with the exhibitor(s) that you permit to scan your name badge.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS: Please visit Continuing Education Credits for Information on CTP, CCM, FPAC and CPE Credits.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY DISCLOSURE: Please be aware that upon registration for the event, you have provided AFP the right to use your photograph and potential video for AFP advertising, trade and promotion.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY: There is no substitution processing fee charge for AFP 2025, but additional fees may apply based on the substitute's membership status. If you cannot attend the conference, you may substitute another person from your company. Once a badge is picked up, the registration cannot be substituted. All requests for substitutions must be made in writing with a completed registration form by September 19, 2025, for AFP 2025 Boston. If you must substitute after September 19, 2025, do not send registrations to AFP - these will be processed onsite at one of the "Registration Assistance" counters and all fees will apply.

CANCELLATION POLICY: There is a $100 cancellation processing fee charge for AFP 2025. There are no refunds or credits for AFP 2025 Boston cancellations received after September 19, 2025. AFP accepts only written cancellations to [email protected].

• Membership dues are individual, non-refundable and non-transferable. 
• Exhibitor Portal purchases are not refundable.  
• Cancellations for registrations that were purchased after November 1, 2024, and the cancellation is received by September 19, 2025, may be eligible for a refund of the registration fee, less a $100 cancellation processing fee.
• Cancellations for Corporate Practitioner Team Pricing that reduce the total # in team to one or two registrants will adjust the attendee registration rate before a refund is issued for the cancellation, less the $100 cancellation processing fee per person. One or two registrants do not qualify for team pricing and will be registered at the prevailing Full Conference pricing which has member and non-member rates based on payment date. 

REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS: If you require assistance to participate fully in the AFP Conference, please complete Accommodation Request by September 1, 2025. AFP will make every effort to accommodate all accommodation requests, however some provisions may incur a cost to the attendee. The events team will contact you 30 days prior to the conference.

ALLERGEN NOTIFICATION: If you have an allergy, please complete Allergen Notification by September 1, 2025. AFP will provide the convention center with the attendee allergy list 45 days prior to the conference. 

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS: If you have Kosher or Halal dietary restrictions, please complete Special Meal Requests by September 1, 2025. The AFP events team will reach out to attendees requesting Halal or Kosher meals 60 days before the conference. Attendees requesting a special meal are required to respond and confirm their special needs and the location where their meals should be delivered within 7 business days, or the request will be removed from their registration record.  

AFP will provide the convention center with all special meal requests thirty (30) days prior to the conference. AFP cannot guarantee that special meal requests made 20 days prior to the conference will be accommodated.

SPOUSE/PARTNER REGISTRATION: To add your spouse/partner to your registration, please submit a completed registration form along with the $300 fee by September 19, 2025. Spouse/partner cannot be a practicing financial professional, seller/provider of finance or treasury solutions and services, employed by a company in the industry or a consultant to the industry. Spouse/partner registration includes admission to the Exhibit Hall, Keynotes, AFP social events and general meals, but not educational sessions.
