Building AI That We Can Trust
As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes more sophisticated, it is increasingly taking on roles that are traditionally done by humans, from driving our cars and assisting with our healthcare to assisting with financial decisions. From forecasting and liquidity management to payments processing, consumers and practitioners alike need to be able to trust these AI systems. Dr. Rana el Kaliouby, a pioneer in Human Perception AI, proposes that there needs to be a new social contract between AI and humans, one that is built on mutual trust, with human understanding and empathy at its core. In this keynote, Rana outlines her “5 Tenets of the Social Contract Between AI and Humans” and argues that organizations must be attuned to the needs of their people to successfully develop and deploy this advanced technology.
